Reading & Technique
For the new pianist, reading is the gateway to everything and technique unlocks the gate.
I teach how to quickly read the treble and bass clefs of the grand staff, along with simple tricks to memorize them. Likewise, with using both hands simultaneously, I take different approaches to awaken this skill.

Home Environment
In-home lessons are the most optimal way to provide focused guidance and development, while also giving the student freedom to select a piano of their choice. Additionally, keyboards I bring will be equipped with headphone ports so volume will not be a concern (one of the best features of modern pianos!).

Play What You Choose
Learning to perform the songs you truly want to can bolster your diligence. I do not believe in boring you to disinterest. I am here to guide your learning.
I will have a mixture of scores available at various levels and am always acquiring new ones to support learners at all levels.
